MOROUS

A new project on the vibrant South Bohemian scene. Žrout (guitar, vocals; otherwise drums in LAHAR),
Míra (guitar, vocals; otherwise bass guitar in MEGELNYK) and Aleš (drums; formerly KAOSQUAD,
MURUROA, etc.) met and threw themselves into orthodox death metal, the contours of which
were outlined by the great Chuck Schuldiner in the late eighties. MOROUS does not mix a deadly
cocktail from just one genre, they also add elements of thrash and black metal to it, and the result,
which they have only performed live so far, is a breathtaking ride. Mostly led pretty sharply,
and with colorful vocals that range from a deep roar to a hysterical scream.

MOROUS is preparing a debut record for this year, which they are currently recording
at Hellsound studio under the supervision of Honza Kapák (BOHEMYST, ex-MASTER'S HAMMER, etc.).
