KROLOK

KROLOK, an atmospheric black metal band from Slovakia.

The boys, who also belong to band called Malokarpatan, describe their music as a return to the way
it was done in the nineties. This is also reflected in their sound and expression.

Dark times, gloomy twilight of deep forests, wanderings around castles and ruins of the Little Carpathians
in the spirit of the magically inspirational Quorthon (Bathory) and Celtic Frost's guitar vigor bring a glimpse
into the troubled times of our ancestors. KROLOK have a rooted approach in the past and their own patterns, drawing on the wondrous world of stories of the native land.

Despite occasional theatrical moments, they play nothing but authentic black metal, to which they add
dismal melodies and raw backing vocals. On the current album “Funeral Winds & Crimson Sky”,
released by the top label Osmose Productions, working with a dominant guitar riffs and with a keyboard
parties sometimes painfully plaintive. Everything is framed in imaginative samples. Universal drums
are an added value on this relatively conventional album.

Even ETEF will have "their Bathory" in the band KROLOK.
