HENYCH 666
After leaving the legendary Czech band TÖRR, one of the first bands which signed their soul to the devil
and played black metal in the Eastern Bloc during the socialist era, singing bassist Vlasta Henych founded
the band HENYCH 666 in 2010, which slightly deviated from the black trade and began to mix thrash,
groove and industrial metal into it. After recording their debut album “Psychonaut”, several personnel changes and Vlasta’s concert activity with Master’s Hammer, the line-up stabilized in 2023, with veteran Vlasta joined
by another “old panther” Herr Miler (Debustrol) and younger blood in the form of Aleš Hampl and Yan Havlín.
The repertoire of HENYCH 666 is still dominated by the songs of the old TÖRR from the demo "Witchhammer" (1987) and albums from the first half of the nineties, in 2024 the band brilliantly played
the legendary album "Institut klinícké smrti" (1991) at a special concert, and on the stages in 2025 an energetic performance and a mix of their own work with that from the TÖRR era can be expected. By the way, HENYCH 666 today seems more credible and authentic than TÖRR, which also operates in parallel...
