DØDHEIMSGARD

DØDHEIMSGARD (also known as DHG) is a Norwegian extreme metal band formed in 1994.
For thirty years, DØDHEIMSGARD have been forging their own path from black metal, through
experimental and avant-garde/ industrial metal sounds, arriving at where we find them today
on their latest album, „Black Medium Current“. Arguably an amalgam of all that has gone before,
with a twist of new experimentalism that marks them out as the pioneers that they continue to be.

It does not exist another true Norwegian Black Metal band that has had such a real and definite
influential impact on the genre and command the same artistic weight and merit as DHG.

They remain true to the spirit of individualism that made the scene what it was at the time of genesis
"Kronet Til Konge" (1995). It's hard to even explain what a seismic impact "Monumental Possession" (1996),
 "Satanic Art" (1998) and "666 International" (1999) had upon their release. Other album gems
"Supervillain Outcast" (2007), "A Umbra Omega" (2015) followed,
up with the current "Black Medium Current" (2023).

From the last year of ETEF 2024 we all know what Yusaf alias Vicotnik performed with the band DVEN.
And this year it will be in DHG jersey again genius madness live!
