SEAR BLISS

COVID-19 makes things complicated all around the globe and ETEF is no exception. Well, on other hand,
it brought us a new cult-status headliner, as we were forced to replace Ancient. Hungarian  folk / gothic / black romance, SEAR BLISS. Active since 1993, originating from Szombathely city, they are famous for using very untypical instruments in their art (not very often you can see trombone on as a permanent part of black metal band!).

Its kinda symbolic that they toured together with Ancient in the past. They have 8 full-lenght albums, some EP´s and live albums, which have been released by some of very first league metal labels (Candlelight rcs., Hammerheart rs., Red Stream Rcs.). First demo The Pagan Winter is dating to 1995, debut album Phantoms 1996. Well, all albums of the band´s carrier, including their latest creation Letters From The Edge (2017), have received superlative reviews and critics in the metal world, both by fans and press.

The band has cooperated on albums with such veterans as  Attila Csihar (Mayhem, Tormentor, Aborym,...)  and have shared stages in many countries with top bands - Marduk, Mortiis, Tormentor, Skyforger, Immolation, Malevolent Creation to name just a few.
