Welcome the legend of the extreme scene - the continuation of the morbid Pungent Stench!!!
Year 2007 marked the split-up of the original PS pack and it meant a big loss for all adorers of the reekfull sound of the primordial death metal. After the band's demise, fans have demanded for comeback and have persisted until 2013, when the mastermind, Martin „El Cochino“ Schirenc, decided to recreate the spirit of the original band and gave the legendary death-grindcore songs new powers in the form of SCHIRENC PLAYS PUNGENT STENCH!!!

The impulse was a show in Istanbul in 2011, where Martin and other players, under the alias "The Church of Pungent Stench," played several songs of his former band with enormous success. Due to a legal dispute, the band was forced to change its name and has been touring since 2013 as "SCHIRENC PLAYS PUNGENT STENCH" including attending the biggest festivals in Europe (Neurotic Deathfest, SWR Barroselas Metalfest, Graspop Metal Meeting, Hellfest, Bang Your Head, Brutal Assault, Into The Grave) and USA (70.000 Tons of Metal and Maryland Deathfest).
